Terms of Use and Sale
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These terms apply to askmaggiehale.com and to the purchase of The Steady Legs Library and other Maggie Hale digital products. The seller is Akouété, an individual based in France who sells digital educational PDFs through Payhip. Contact: [email protected].
Educational content, not medical advice
All content is general educational information drawn from public sources such as the CDC and the National Institute on Aging. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease and is not a substitute for advice from your doctor, physical therapist or other qualified professional. Talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program. Stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. In an emergency, call 911. You use the content at your own risk, and no specific result is promised.
About Maggie Hale
Maggie Hale is the brand’s presenter, not a doctor or licensed health professional. General education, not medical advice. Maggie speaks as a friendly guide; she does not claim any personal medical history, credentials or qualifications. Examples in the guides are illustrative everyday scenarios, not real testimonials or case reports. Always check with your own doctor before starting any exercise or making changes to your health routine.
Digital download
Products are delivered as downloadable PDF files (a ZIP plus separate files) through Payhip right after payment. Nothing is shipped. Prices are shown in US dollars; any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout by Payhip.
License
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use and print the files for your own household. You may not resell, share publicly or redistribute them.
30-day refund policy
If you are not satisfied, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase with your order email, and we will refund you in full. No need to return anything. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Payhip.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the seller is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from the use of the content or from activities you choose to do, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Where consumer law of your country of residence gives you mandatory protections, those protections still apply. Before any dispute, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version in force on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.
